Vivo S7t Unveiled with Dimensity 820 Chipset (Priced CNY 2598)

The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo Electronics Corp has unveiled a new handset Vivo S7t in its homeland China. Though the smartphone looks similar to its predecessor Vivo S7, the S7t has got its own identity.
The new smartphone Vivo S7t is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset in contrast to the Vivo S7’s Snapdragon 765G. Leaving the processor, other specs of the new handset look me-too.
Vivo S7t 5G Specifications:
Regarding specifications, the Vivo S7t sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with 85% screen-to-body ratio. It features 1080x2400p resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi density.
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G chipset and Mali-G57 MC5 GPU, it comes in a single memory configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There’s no memory card slot thus one has to content with the allotted storage space.
64MP Triple Camera Setup:
Optics-wise, the Vivo S7t sports a triple-cam-setup at the rear. It includes 64MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, 8MP ultrawide cam, and 2MP depth sensor. It can shoot 4K videos @ 30fps.
For selfies and video calling, there’s a front-facing dual camera. It includes 44MP regular and 8MP ultrawide lens that can deliver 4K videos at 30fps rate.
Powered by a big 4000mAh battery and 33W fast-charging, the Vivo S7t boasts to get 66% charging in just 30 minutes. The handset runs OriginOS based on Android 11. Connectivity wise, its 5G-ready and supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with A-GPS, and USB Type-C. It also supports NFC facility.
Pricing & Availability:
Thought the Vivo S7t has got more powerful Mediatek chipset, the price remains the same as that of the regular Vivo S7 which costs CNY 2598 $400/€335. Clad in Black or Gradient Blue color variants, the new Vivo S7t weighs just 169 grams and is available for sale through pre-orders.
Definitely, the Vivo S7t is a decent handset on the paper. Those who are looking at the Mediatek Dimensity chipset, needs to know that Dimensity 820 is 10% faster and better than the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.
