Oppo A54 Comes with Helio P35 SoC & 5000mAh (Price Starts at ₹13490)

As per its latest revealing, the OPPO has unveiled the OPPO A54 handset in the Indian market. Packed with an Helio P35 chipset and 5000mAh battery, the new handset is powered up to 6GB RAM.
Within a fortnight of its international release, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO Mobiles has launched the OPPO A54 budget handset in the Indian market.
Known for stylish design, the OPPO has got interesting specs including IPX4 certification (accidental water resistance) and a triple camera setup on the OPPO A54 handset. With the super success in the Indonesian market, the company has not delayed its Indian release.
OPPO A54 Specifications:
Coming to the specifications, the OPPO A54 smartphone sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate. There’s an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset (12nm) and up to 6GB RAM, the OPPO A54 houses an inbuilt 128GB storage space. One can expand this onboard storage space up to 256GB using an external microSD card setup.
On the optics front, OPPO A54 sports a triple-camera setup at the rear. The configuration includes 13MP primary lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP bokeh camera.
For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16MP front camera as well. For extra security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock as well.
The OPPO A54 handset boots ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. This is purely a dated Operating system that the company should make a note of and consider rolling an update.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the OPPO A54 handset supports 15W fast-charging. On connectivity-wise, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
OPPO A54 Pricing & Competition:
Clad in three colors – Crystal Black, Starry Blue, and Moonlight Gold, the OPPO A54 smartphone comes in three memory variants. They are 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and the premium 6/128GB that costs ₹13,490 ($180/€150), ₹14,490, and ₹15,990 ($215/€180) respectively.
Starting 20th April, the OPPO A54 can be purchased on the Flipkart portal. Very soon, one can expect the handset with other retail channels as well.
Well, there’s nothing wrong with the specs being provided by OPPO A54. However, the pricing matters. When the other companies are luring customers by providing the best configuration at budget pricing, why can’t OPPO do the same?
