The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched X60 series smartphones in association with optics developer Zeiss for the Indian market.

Though X60 Pro+ handset was actually exclusive to Chinese market, the three models appeared on Vivo’s international portal. Starting April 2nd, all the three phones will be up for sale in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colour options. The Pro+ variant has Emerald Blue with a faux leather finish.

Leaving it aside, these handsets are now available for pre-order on both Amazon and Flipkart.

Vivo X60 Pro+, Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Specifications:

Powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset, the 6.56-inch Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a Super AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and 1000 nits of peak brightness.

In contrast, the X60 and X60 Pro models are powered by the Exynos 1080 chipset. However, the Chinese variants are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

On the optics side, there’s a 50MP ISOCELL GN1 main camera with f/1.56 aperture. There’s a 48MP IMX598 ultra-wide-angle sensor (120º native FoV, 108º after correction) which is common to all the three models. Moreover, all the three X60 models sport pixel shift that aids color accuracy.

With Night Panorama, the Vivo X60 series has got dedicated HDR Super Night Portrait and Kids Snapshot mode. The inbuilt camera modes helps the user to get the best shots using Vivo X60 series.

The Vivo X60 Pro has got a triple-camera-setup with 48MP main camera, 13MP secondary sensor and another 13MP lens.

      Periscope and More:

Seriously, the Vivo X60 series is a good camera handset than can deliver precise wide-angle shots with less distortion and clear picture. The 32MP front sensor is well managed to click selfies and record 4K video shots.

Sadly, the X60 Pro variant is stripped of periscope lens. Instead, it gets a 13MP sensor with 2x telephoto camera and 50mm lens.

Backed by a 4200mAh battery and 55W fast-charging, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is a decent smartphone that stays with you for a day and more. Though it has got bulky specs, the handset is just 7.59mm thick with a flexible 3D curved on the top.

On the otherhand, the Vivo X60 Pro packs a 4,200mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge charging technology.

All the three international models boot Funtouch OS 11.1 built on Android 11. If the things work out smoothly, one can expect the same Chinese OriginOS on the international models as well.

      Vivo X60 Series Availability:

True to its global launch, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro will be available in 20 international markets including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Middle East, Asia Pacific region, and the Europe, the UK and the UAE.

Pricing of the Vivo X60 Series starts from ₹37,990 and increases thereafter. The vanilla Vivo X60 8/128GB and 12/256GB variant costs ₹37,990 ($520/€420) and ₹41,990 ($580/€490) respectively.

The Pro variant has a single 12/256GB memory configuration costs ₹49,990 ($690/€580). The premium Vivo X60 Pro+ too comes in a single variant 12/256GB memory with a price tag of ₹69,990 ($960/€815).

Don’t know how the normal people will react to the 70K handsets. Though this is not an iPhone but surely the Vivo X60 series will do something tosell its flagship model.

So, what is your opinion on the latest Vivo X60 Series handset? Share your thoughts.
