The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Transsion Holdings has launched its Tecno Spark 7 handset in the Indian market. Starting 16th April, this budget handset will be available for sale on the Amazon India eCommerce platform.
Though it is a budget handset, the Tecno Spark 7 is backed by a mammoth 6000mAh battery. Probably, that might be the only reason to advertise it as a 30-day standby handset. Apart from this, the company has not revealed anything related to screen time or video playtime.
Tecno Spark 7 Specifications:
The Tecno Spark 7 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ dot notch screen display with 720x1600p resolution. The aspect ratio and screen-to-body ratios are 20:9 and 90.34% respectively. Supporting a peak brightness of up to 480 nits, it can’t let you down.
Powered by a MediaTek Helio A25 chipset and GE8320 GPU, it comes in low memory configuration – 2/32GB and 3/64GB. Of course, there’s a dedicated microSD card slot that helps the user to expand its storage capacity.
Sadly, it doesn’t pack a 4/64GB configuration which is a new standard for the budget handsets.
16MP AI Dual Rear Camera:
On the optics front, Tecno Spark 7 sports a 16MP AI dual rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and Quad Flash. The second module supports Video Bokeh and can record 120 fps slow-motion videos.
For video calling and selfies, there’s an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and dual front flash. It also packs Face Unlock and Fingerprint Sensor for tightening the security.
Smart AI System for Longer Performance:
As disclosed earlier, the Tecno Spark 7 comes with a 6000mAh battery. It is equipped with a smart AI system that cuts off the charging when completely done. As a result, the handset delivers a longer performance.
Connectivity-wise, the Tecno Spark 7 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, OTG, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It sadly misses the USB-C charging cable inside the retail box.
This Chinese handset boots Tecno’s HiOS 7.5 software built on Android 11. As it is a customized version, the handset has got many interesting features like dark mode, chat bubbles, etc.
Available in 3 color variants (Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue, and Spruce Green), the Tecno Spark 7 will cost ₹7500 ($100/€85) for the basic 2/32GB model. For the next higher model 3/32GB, one has to pay ₹8500. As a launch offer, the company has announced a flat discount of ₹500 on both models.
