Tecno Camon 16 Claims to Redefine Photography (at ₹10999)

The Chinese mobile manufacturer Tecno Mobile has announced its latest smartphone Camon 16 in the Indian market. Earlier, the Shenzhen-based company introduced Camon 16 Pro and Camon 16 Premier in India.
This time, we get to see Tecno Camon 16 which is quite a replica of Camon 16 Premier. To be precise, this phone is a stripped-down variant of Camon 16 Premier.
Tecno Camon 16 Specifications:
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 chipset and 4GB RAM, the handset sports a 64mp quad-camera-setup on the rear. The Tecno Camon 16 sports a 6.8-inch HD+ hole-punch display with 720 x 1640 pixel resolution.
It has a 64GB inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB using microSD card. Built on Android 10 with HiOS 7.0 on top, the Tecno Camon 16 is backed by a decent 5000mAh battery and 18W Flash charging support. Undoubtedly, it can last easily for a day and more with normal to medium usage.
Lots of Pro Features in Camera:
On the optics front, the Tecno Camon 16 sports a 64mp quad-camera-setup on the rear that’s capable of auto eye focusing, ultra-night portraits, slow-mo video recording, video bokeh, 2K QHD video support, and 10X zoom and many more.
The quad-camera-setup includes a 64mp main camera, 2mp macro lens, 2mp depth of field sensor, and 2mp AI snapper with AI LED flash. It is joined by a fingerprint sensor.
For selfies and video calling, it there’s a 16mp dual selfie snapper that can shoot Super Night shots and 2K recording. The camera specs are much similar to the Tecno Camon 16 Premier.

Clad in Cloud White, Misty Grey and Purist Blue, the Tecno Camon 16 will be available for purchase at a price tag of ₹10,999 during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale supposed to start from 16th October.
Except Apple and Google Pixel, every smartphone maker is just flooding the market with thousands of models with little to no difference. Some rebrand their phone, while others remove/add one feature and announce it as THE LATEST.
