Nokia 6, the first Android-powered smartphone to carry the Nokia name has been announced by HMD Global. The parent company of Nokia, HMD Global, has restricted its exclusivity to the Chinese market and will be available only via retailer JD.com at 1699 CNY (₹17K) in the first half of 2017.
Nokia 6 Specifications:
Regarding specifications, Nokia 6 represents the modern design using 6000 series aluminum. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080) display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC processor and 4GB RAM, the smartphone packs 64GB internal storage further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the optics front, the new Nokia 6 has a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-tone flash. There is an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.

Relook at its Strategy:
The Nokia 6 marks the first step for Nokia brand into Android smartphones but it’s sad that Nokia 6 is not coming to India. Hope HMD Global will relook into its strategy.
