4 Mbps Minimum Speed - A Game Changer:
As per the reports, this upgrade is applicable to all the broadband plans offered by BSNL. It is to be noted that this speed upgrade will not attract any additional cost from the subscribers. Moreover, the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) quota is also enhanced up to 250%. For example, the 20GB FUP limit is increased up to the 70GB edge.
Last time, BSNL doubled the broadband speed to 2 Mbps in 2015. This new move by BSNL will definitely be a game changer in the broadband market. For example, the most popular BB249 plan used to offer 1GB data at 2Mbps speed. But with the recent upgrade, BB249 will now offer 1GB of data at 4Mbps and later on unlimited data at 1Mbps.
