RCOM Launches Welcome Offer to Counter Jio, 3G Data for Less than ₹ 50

In a surprising note, Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communication launched ‘Welcome Offer’ pack to counter Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio. Everyone is under the impression that RCom has virtually merged with Reliance Jio but the latest move by Reliance Communication is a well-designed attempt to counter Reliance Jio tsunami.
RCom Welcome Offer Plans:
RCOM has offered 2 cheaper 3G and 2G plans under the welcome offer.

₹ 496 Plan: Under this plan, 496 minutes of talk time and 10GB 3G data is offered for 3 months at a calling rate of 25 paisa per minute. If we calculate the cost of 1 GB of 3G data, it lands at just ₹ 49.60 which is 40 paisa lesser than what Reliance Jio is offering.

₹ 295 Plan: Under this plan, 295 minutes of talk time and 3GB 3G data is offered for 3 months at a calling fate of 25 paisa per minute. Here, the cost of 1 GB of 3G data lands at ₹ 98.34 which is a competitive pricing with 3 months validity.
After the merger with Aircel, Reliance Communication has become a strong challenger and trying to attract new customers with exciting 3G offers. This welcome offer is applicable across all circles in India. As of now, this plan is applicable to Delhi-NCR subscribers and would soon be offered across India. Hope it launches some exciting data plans for the existing users too.
Non-Stop Plan Calling Offer:
In order to retain the existing customers, RCom has launched special voice calling plan – Non-Stop Plan. Under this new plan, the customers can make 1000 local and STD minutes at just ₹ 153.
With intent not to miss its 2G user base, RCom has unveiled Welcome Offer for 2G customers at ₹ 141. This 2G welcome pack provides 5GB of 2G data bundled with 141 minutes and 25 paisa per minute calling with 3 months validity.
