Guangdong-based Chinese electronics company OPPO has added F19 Pro+ 5G and F19 Pro handsets to its F-series. As these smartphones are virtually identical, let us consider the Pro+ 5G variant for the sake of our discussion.
Incidentally, the global launch also witnessed the unveiling of the Oppo Band Style fitness tracker alongside Oppo’s F-series.
Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G Specifications:
The Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G handset sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2400×1080 pixels resolution) and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint reader and the panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 800U 5G chipset, Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and 8GB RAM, it houses a 128GB internal ROM with a dedicated slot for a microSD card. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB.
To the unaware, this is the same Dimensity chipset that’s been used in Realme X7 and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G smartphones. On the other hand, the standard Oppo F19 Pro variant is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset.
Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G Quad-Camera Setup:
Regarding optics, there’s a quad-camera-setup on the rear. It includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP portrait and 2MP macro snapper. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16MP front camera in a punch-hole cutout.
Known for camera features, the OPPO has packed innovative modes including AI Highlight Portrait video, Ultra Night Video and Dual View video that can take shots from both front and rear cameras.
Backed by a 4310mAh battery, the Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G supports 50W Flash charging whereas the standard one includes a 30W speedy charge. Both the handsets boot ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
On the connectivity front, the handset supports 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C port. The smartphone is sleek with 7.8mm thickness and weighs 178 grams. It comes in Fluid Black and Space Silver colour variants.

Pricing wise, the Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G 8/128GB single variant costs ₹25,990. On the other hand, the Oppo F19 Pro 8/128GB costs ₹21,490 and the higher 8/256GB model costs ₹23,490.
Though the first sale starts on 17th March, the pre-bookings are open for both models. Interestingly, the 5G handset will be available on Amazon India and the other Oppo F19 Pro model sale is dedicated to the Flipkart portal.
In total, the Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G is a mid-range handset delivering a 5G experience. Instead one can consider Mi10i, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Poco X3.
