The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has come up with an ultra-affordable Realme C20 handset. Currently, this new phone is launched in the Vietnam market. And very soon, it will be unveiled in other markets including India.

The Realme C20 looks similar to its C lineup predecessors Realme C12 and C15 but with downgraded cameras. At just VND 24,90, 000 (₹7900/$105/€90), the Realme C20 is an affordable handset.

However, at this price, it has to face stiff competition from the recently launched Redmi 9 Power and Poco M2 handsets.

    Realme C20 Specifications:

Specifications wise, the Realme C20 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with 720×1600p resolution and 89% screen-to-body ratio. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top, there’s a teardrop notch as well.

Powered by a time-tested MediaTek Helio G35 chipset and 2GB of RAM, the Realme C20 provides a 32GB inbuilt storage space. It also provides the flexibility to increase the storage space up to 256GB using a microSD card.

As detailed earlier, the Realme C20 is downgraded with respect to the camera department. It sports a single 8MP camera on the back. On the front, there’s a 5MP camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling.

Backing it there’s a 5000mAh battery pack that lasts for more than a day. When its predecessors are packed with 6000mAh battery, this is definitely a downgrade. Leaving it aside, the retail unit packs 10W charger and offers reverse charging support.

Realme C20 with Realme UI 2.0:

The Realme C20 boots Realme UI 2.0 based on the latest Android 11. Though it lacks a fingerprint scanner it supports Face Unlock. The phone weighs less than 190 grams and 8.9mm thick in spite of its heavy battery pack.

Connectivity-wise, the Realme C20 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and MicroUSB port. Clad in Blue and Grey colour options, this new handset is currently limited to Vietnam. It is a global variant, one can expect an Indian launch very soon.
