The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has launched another budget handset for the global market. The Redmi 9T is now part of the lengthy Redmi 9 series along with the Redmi Note 9T 5G.
Though the newly launched Redmi 9T is a budget handset, the Xiaomi is packed with many value-adding features. Apart from the AI Quad-camera-setup, the Redmi 9T gets a mammoth 6,000mAh battery. This is a true copy of the recently launched Indian variant Redmi 9 Power.
Redmi 9T Specifications:
Coming to the specs, the Redmi 9T sports a 6.53-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2340 pixels) of 395ppi density and 19.5:9 ratio. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, Adreno 610 GPU and 4/6GB RAM, the handset houses 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage space.
In the camera department, the Redmi 9T features AI quad-camera-setup comprising 48MP f/1.8 primary camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, 2MP macro and depth sensors. This is definitely a better configuration than that of Redmi Note 9T 5G.
For selfies and video calling, there’s an 8MP selfie camera.
Redmi 9T Powered by 6000mAh Battery:
Backed by a BIG 6000mAh battery and 18W charging speed (reverse charging 2.5W), this Redmi 9T provides multiple days of juice on a single charge. Moreover, the Xiaomi claims up to 4 years of reliability. It boots MIUI 12 based on Android 10 OS.
On the connectivity side, the Redmi 9T has dual-SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, an infrared sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, compass, and optional NFC.
The Redmi 9T pricing starts at €159 for a 4/64GB variant and it goes up to €189 for 4/128GB model. Officially, the price of 6/128GB variant is not listed yet. It is targeted at the European market, there’s optional support for NFC. However, one has to pay an extra €10 for it.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T is available in 4 colour variants including Twilight Blue, Sunset Orange, Carbon Gray and Ocean Green.
