Redmi Note 4 Launched - Comes with Helio X20 10-Core CPU, 4100mAh Battery, Priced at $135
-
Today, Xiaomi officially launched Redmi Note 4 in China. The budget friendly Redmi series has got a new offering in the form of Redmi Note 4. This device has a premium metal body finish and is powered by Media Tek’s Deca-Core Helio X20 processor and a mammoth 4100mAh battery.
Redmi Note 4 will be available in 2 variants - 2GB RAM 16GB inbuilt storage and 3GB RAM 64GB memory expandable up to 128GV via microSD card. As expected, the device will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of imaging, the handset will feature a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp selfie lens.
The premium metal unibody look is available in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey colour options. The mobile will be available for sale from tomorrow (August 26th) through its official Mi website and other online and offline stores. As for price, 16GB model is priced at RMB 899 (approx $135) and the 64GB Redmi Note 4 is priced at RMB 1199 (approx $180). There is no official information about its availability in other markets.
Indian Variant Redmi 4 Note:
Due to ongoing legal battle with Ericsson, Xiaomi will have to tie-up with Qualcomm as it cannot release MediaTek powered phone in India. Similarly, the Indian version of Redmi Note 3 has 16mp rear camera instead of 13mp for its Chinese counterpart. So, one can expect a similar change in terms of a camera lens for the Indian variant.
The stock Redmi Note 4 runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With 151x76x8.35mm and 175 grams weight, this newest addition to Redmi series is indeed a powerful device sold at less than 9000 bucks. Utterly insane!
