The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has got a new matte black colour variant. Starting today, the matte black variant of Redmi Note 4 will be available for sale on Flipkart and Mi.com portals.

Till now, Mi India has Gold and Grey colour variants for its popular Redmi Note 4 smartphone. As usual, today’s flash sale too lasted for only a few seconds. Leaving the flash sale concept, everything is working well with Xiaomi in India. The enthusiastic buyers are losing hope on their favourite RN4 phone of the year.

To recap, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a mid-budget class smartphone from Xiaomi. It is the successor to the most popular Redmi Note 3 smartphone of Xiaomi. There are 3 variants and the price starts at 9999 for the base model that is equipped with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

The Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Optics wise, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. It comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity and has a stylish all-metal unibody design.

In terms of battery, Redmi Note 4 is a powerhouse with 4,100mAh battery and can last 25% longer than its previous version. The handset runs on Android 6 Marshmallow (MIUI 8) and one can expect a Nougat update for it in the near future.
