Bharti Airtel Rolls Out 4G LTE Services in Jharkhand

Expanding its 4G LTE network coverage, Bharti Airtel today launched 4G services in Jharkhand. With this Airtel 4G expanded its 4G footprint to major cities like Barhi, Giridih, Godda, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Lohardaga, Pakur and capital Ranchi.
Integrated Dual Band Spectrum:
Airtel 4G subscribers can now enjoy high-speed mobile broadband internet to access uninterrupted HD video streaming and their favorite media on 4G compatible smartphones, 4G Mi-Fi, and dongles. The leading mobile network operator has rolled out 4G services using dual spectrum bands of 1800MHz (FD-LTE) and 2300MHz (TD-LTE) for higher network capacity. With this, Jharkhand has got a distinct achievement of having an integrated dual band Airtel 4G LTE services.
The Bharti Airtel subscribers can upgrade to 4G network by switching their existing SIMs with 4G Ready SIMs at no cost. As a onetime upgrade offer, the subscribers can claim 2GB of high-speed 4G data for free. Apart from this, the customers can also avail 10GB of 4G data for just ₹247 on any new 4G enabled handset. 1GB data will be credited instantly and the remaining 9GB to be claimed through My Airtel app. As a conditional offer, the subscriber can avail a maximum of 3 recharges within 90 days using this ₹247 recharge.
Airtel 4G in Jharkhand:
Addressing the launch, Mr. Ajai Puri, Director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “We are delighted to extend our 4G services to Jharkhand. With data being consumed now more than ever before, Bharti Airtel looks forward to inviting our data savvy customers to enjoy high-speed internet on Airtel 4G network anywhere, without having to pay anything additional. We have also installed special demo zones and kiosks at all the Airtel retail stores to facilitate easy 4G SIM upgrades for customers.”
Today, Airtel has also launched a special 4G prepaid pack for ₹1499 that offers 10GB 4G data upfront and the subscribers can avail 1GB of 4G data at ₹51 for the next 1 year period. Some advance rental plans were also launched that enables the subscriber to get the 4G handset free of cost.
Starting its 4G network in Kolkata in April 2012, Bharti Airtel has been expanding its 4G footprint in 21 circles across India. The time has come to deliver its best while facing strict competition from Reliance Jio.
