RCOM Launches India’s First 4G VoLTE Home Phone

When the entire industry is talking about 4G LTE smartphones, Reliance Communications has gone far ahead and launched India’s first 4G LTE home phone. This 4G VoLTE enabled fixed wireless phone is definitely the industry first and every 4G lover would like to have it in their homes. Modeled as Wi Bridge- RM4G234, this fixed wireless phone has a built-in SIM slot.

Industry First 4G LTE Home Phone:

Reliance Communications Ltd, the fourth largest telecom operator in India, launched the 4G LTE home phone. The company claims it as a phone for everything and a phone for everyone in your phone. The fixed wireless phone looks as if it is a regular landline telephone. In traditional fixed-line handsets, one can observe copper wiring. On contrary, this 4G LTE fixed wireless phone is wirelessly connected to RCom’s 4G Network.

The 4G LTE Home Phone sports a 3.5-Inch TFT Colour touch screen. One can carry this 4G VoLTE enabled wireless fixed land phone across the country as it connects to the RCom’s 4G network via antenna. The device runs on Android 5.1 operating system and receives LTE signal and has an inbuilt Wi-Fi signal router to connect to 8 devices simultaneously. That means the ultra-high-speed 4G data can connect up to 8 Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

The RCom’s 4G Fixed Wireless Phone supports HD Voice, SMS, and VoLTE features. And it also supports easy cascading of YouTube to Smart TV. Unlike Reliance Jio, this doesn’t have any unlimited free calling facility. As per the company, it has offered 2 tariff plans namely 4G Smart Lite 299 and 4G Smart Lite 499 offering 2GB and 4GB of high-speed 4G data. After the completion of the bundled data pack, the subscriber needs to recharge with data add-on pack so as to enjoy the continuous high-speed 4G internet experience.
