Reliance Jio to Launch ‘Locate My Device’ Feature Using GPS

Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom arm of Reliance Industries, will soon launch ‘Locate My Device’ feature to track their smartphones using GPS. Though there is no official confirmation about the news, there are widespread reports about the service.

As per the report disclosed by The Economic Times, Reliance Jio subscribers can make use of ‘Locate My Device’ feature to track the location of smartphone including data and time. As of now, the feature is still under carpet but when it goes live, subscribers can just log into Reliance Jio’s official website and access the location of their handsets with the help of GPS.

JioSecurity App Remotely Controls the Device:

The best thing about Reliance Jio is its inbuilt JioSecurity App. It protects your smartphone against digital threats and privacy leaks by blocking fraudulent websites. The USP of JioSecurity App is that it can easily find the location of your lost smartphone through remote locate or set an alarm to find your lost device. In simple words, through remote phone access the JioSecurity App wipes data from your stolen phone or locks the smartphone remotely.
