After Reliance Jio and Reliance Communications, the state-run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will soon offer unlimited free voice calls to any network and 300MB of data at ₹149 per month.
As per a report, BSNL will roll out its unlimited free voice calling on January 1, 2017. With the disruption caused by the new entrant Reliance Jio, all the telecom operators are looking out to offer free voice calls. We are working on a plan to allow unlimited voice calla to mobile subscribers at any network across India at ₹149 a month.”
Mr. Shrivastava added BSNL’s strategy is aimed at not only retaining existing customers but also enhancing subscriber base in the wake of Jio’s tactical pricing, and competitive tariffs by Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.”
