BSNL PV ₹197 Prepaid Packs ZING Music App with 180 Days Validity

The state-run telecom player BSNL has launched a new prepaid plan PV₹197 with 180 days validity. Surprisingly, the pack is bundled with the ZING music app. The PV₹197 prepaid tariff plan is effective from 3rd April onwards.
As per the latest press release, BSNL’s new voucher PV₹197 offers unlimited voice calling without restrictions. Along with voice benefits, PV₹197 packs 2GB daily data and 100 SMS per day.
Though the BSNL PV₹197 pack comes with 180 days validity period, these benefits are limited to only18 days from the date of activation. Post the usage of daily 2GB data, speed reduces to 80kbps.
ZING Music App:
Along with it, the BSNL has bundled the ZING music app. To the unaware, ZING offers entertainment in 15+ languages including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Oriya, Assamese, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya etc.
Incidentally, Zing is an exclusive music streaming partner to BSNL subscribers. However, it is only available on certain STV denominations of BSNL prepaid.
Though Zing appears to be a new streaming platform, it has got a wide range of music selection. It also offers popular movies and short videos. There are about 30 thousand movies and videos available across all Indian regional languages.
Removed 998 and 1098 STV’s:
Along with the introduction of PV₹197, BSNL has removed two prepaid STV’s namely 998 and 1098. It used to come with a validity period of 240 and 84 days respectively.
