Redmi Note 10 Series Unveiled with Super AMOLED Display (First Ever)
-
Xiaomi’s most-awaited Redmi Note 10 series is finally launched in the Indian market. Within a few hours of its launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has made the Redmi Note 10 series a global one.
The Redmi Note 10th Edition consists of 3 handsets – the Note 10, the Note 10 Pro and the Note 10 Pro Max. Though the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the top-end handset, specs-wise the Note 10 Pro is the best of the lineup.
Though the 108MP main camera steals the show, the main USP is its SUPER AMOLED display. It is common for the entire Note 10 series which is a first on the Redmi Note lineup.
Let start the ball with Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Specifications:
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the first-ever handset from the Redmi series to sport a 120Hz Super AMOLED screen and touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top, it features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with HDR 10 support and 1200 nits of peak brightness.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max houses a 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 Lens:
In the optics department, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max sports a quad-camera-setup at the rear including a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 main camera with Super-PD autofocus, 5MP Super Macro lens with 2x zoom, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16MP front camera.
It is to be noted that the handset captures 12MP shots in default settings. If you are fond of the 108MP sensor for detailed pixels, then you can go for it. Keep a note of the large size of the captured image.
For the first time, Xiaomi has included VLOG Mode in its camera. Other supporting modes include Magic Clone mode, Long Exposure mode, Night Mode 2.0, Video Pro mode and Dual Video mode.
Booting MIUI 12 based on Android 11, the handset is highly customized. As it is the latest release, one can expect MIUI 12.5 update very soon. Powered by a 5020mAh battery, it supports 33W fast-charging.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Pricing & Availability:
Being a Redmi handset, it includes an IR blaster by default. Other features include a headphone jack, dual stereo speakers and IP52 rating. Clad in Dark Night, Glacial Blue and Vintage Bronze colour options, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max pricing starts from ₹18,999 ($261) for a 6/64GB variant.
The other two memory configurations are 6/128GB and 8/128GB are priced at ₹19,999 ($275) and ₹21,999 ($302) respectively. If you are a Redmi Note lover then mark March 18th in your calendar. Starting March 18th, one can grab the handset on Amazon India and Mi.com portals.
If you own an ICICI Bank Credit Card, then there’s a ₹1500 discount on purchases. It makes the deal much sweeter. By going through the specs, the Redmi Note 10 series will definitely kill the Samsung M and F series AMOLED handsets.
