Along with a mid-range handset, the OnePlus has also released an entry-level smartphone. This is really a BIG shock to the OnePlus fans. Till now who used to enjoy the Never Settle tagline, feel themselves cheated.
Not exaggerating but this new move by the Chinese company was never expected. The OnePlus Nord N100 is not a 5G handset instead supports 4G LTE.
Priced at £180 (17K in Indian currency), the OnePlus Nord N100 is powered by Snapdragon 460 chipset and has a triple-camera setup with 5000mAh battery.
OnePlus Nord N100 Specifications:
Specifications wise, the OnePlus Nord N100 sports a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with 720x1600p resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. On the top, you have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that makes it scratch resistant.
Powered by a budget 11nm chip with Cortex-A73 derived cores on the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 chipset and Adreno 610 GPU, the OnePlus Nord N100 is paired with 4GB RAM.
It packs a 64GB inbuilt storage space that can be further expandable up to 256GB using a cheap microSD card. On the rear, you get a responsive fingerprint sensor.
13MP Triple Camera Setup:
The OnePlus Nord N100 features a basic triple-camera-setup. It includes 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. With respect to videos, it records just 1080p at 30fps.
For selfies, there’s an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture that’s equally shoots 1080p at 30fps rate.
Like most of the budget handsets, OnePlus Nord N100 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W Fast Warp Charging support.
The new budget handset from OnePlus boots its own OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10. Starting November 10th, one can grab the handset in Midnight Frost colour.
Strangely, the OnePlus Nord N100 budget handset will not be available in Indian subcontinent. Currently, it is now restricted to US and European markets.
