    Bharti Airtel launched its 4G services in Siliguri town. This is indeed a milestone to Airtel as it has now made a mark in the North Bengal region. Using 2300 Mhz spectrum band, Airtel has made sure that the customers can enjoy higher spectrum efficiency with increased internet speeds.

    Now the subscribers of Airtel can upgrade their handsets to experience Airtel 4G services. Addressing the launch, Mr. Ravindra Singh Negi, CEO – West Bengal & Odisha, said the company would soon wrap all the major locations in North Bengal and Sikkim with 4G services.

    This is to remind that Airtel has scripted its 4G journey in India by launching its first 4G services in Kolkata in April 2012. Now, it has expanded its 4G services in Kharagpur, Baharampur and Haldi in West Bengal. By offering 4G in North Bengal and Sikkim, Airtel can easily target higher revenue as these locations serves as the base for major tourist attractions like Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Dooars, Gangtok and many more.

    The customers can avail complimentary 4G upgrade by visiting the nearest Airtel store and get 4G SIM to experience lightening mobile internet speeds.
