Redmi 8 Phones Available Via Open Sale Model in India
-
Facing stiff competition in the Indian market, Xiaomi is not leaving any stone to maintain its supremacy. Xiaomi popular for making budget handsets has failed in maintaining an open sale for its products.
Till now, the company used flash sales as the medium to sell its popular products. Realizing its mistake, the Chinese electronics giant has decided to release Redmi Note 8 handsets in an open sale.
Open Sale Model:
With this, the Xiaomi has changed its marketing model to open sale. The new open sale system will be applicable across all the platforms including Flipkart, Amazon India and Mi India portal.
The entire Redmi 8 line up is now open for the open sale. That means, the customer can purchase the handset anytime without worrying about the time frame.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro (Amazon India exclusive), Redmi Note 8 (Amazon India exclusive) and Redmi 8 (Flipkart exclusive) are hereby available for the open sale instead of the flash sale model.
For the unaware, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is one of the first handsets in the market to feature a 64-megapixel camera along with a powerful Helio G90T chipset. The Chinese giant Xiaomi has got a dedicated microSD slot for the Indian variant.
Equipped with 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, mammoth 4500mAh battery and 18W quick-charger, Redmi Note 8 Pro retails at ₹14,999.
Budget King Redmi 8 Phone Lineup:
On the other hand, the budget king Redmi Note 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and up to 6GB RAM, it has inbuilt 128GB storage and retails at ₹9,999. The 48-megapixel Quad camera captures sharp and clear images even in night mode.
The most affordable handset of the Redmi 8 series is Redmi 8. It sports AI dual rear cameras, huge 5000mAh battery and Type-C port. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset and 4GB RAM, it packs 64GB inbuilt space.
At just ₹7,999, the handset has got fingerprint scanner and Aura mirror design.
The company has finally got good news for its handset lovers. Hope it makes a good start in the new year too.
