The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its new smartphone Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7 in the Indian market. The smartphone lovers have been anxiously awaiting this moment. And Xiaomi didn’t disappoint the young Indian Mi lovers.

The electronics giant surprised the industry experts by announcing Redmi Note 7 at a starting price of ₹9,999. To the unaware, the Redmi Note 7 is launched in the Chinese market and is doing exceptionally well.

Though everyone expected the launch of Redmi Note 7, the pro variant grabbed the attention. The Redmi Note 7 Pro has got an upgraded processor, improved cameras and more storage than its predecessor.

      Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications:

Regarding specifications, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has got a 6.3-inch Full HD (1080X2340) display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, extremely thin bezels and Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and Adreno 612 GPU, the handset claims superior performance with a 180,808 Antutu benchmark score.

      48mp Camera Beast:

Other interesting specs include 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The company claims that the handset will even excel in low-light photography. The other notable feature is the inclusion of 4K video shooting and steady handheld night photography mode.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel sensor with Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered add-ons including AI scene detection, AI Portrait 2.0 and Night mode.

Further, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 7 Pro has got the USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm audio jack and IR Blaster. In the internet fraternity, Redmi Note is quite synonymous for its 4000mAh battery. The company has lived up to the expectations and announced Quick Charge 4 support with a regular 10W charger in the box.

Affordable Pricing Make it a Budget King:

The Xiaomi announced the best price of ₹13,999 for its 4GB RAM+64GB ROM variant. The higher specs variant 6GB RAM+ 128GB ROM is effectively priced ₹16,999. Incidentally, the Mi is known for its affordable pricing and the latest offering is undoubtedly a steal in the present scenario.

In a similar fashion, the new budget king Redmi Note 7 is priced at ₹9,999 for 3GB RAM+32GB ROM. If you want a bigger Redmi Note 7 variant (4GB RAM+64GB ROM) then shell out ₹11,999. Available in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colours, one can pick up the handset on Flipkart, Mi.com starting March 6th 12 pm flash sale.

Similarly, the Redmi Note 7 Pro enthusiasts have to wait for another week. Starting March 13th, you can pick up the offering in Nebula Red, Neptune Blue and Space Black colour.

      What’s Your Opinion?

Undoubtedly, the Snapdragon 675 chipset is a beast and the specs including USB-C are acceptable for the price you pay. Just need to wait for the sample piece so that one can ascertain how good the LTPS display and 48-megapixel camera turns out.

Though it’s not fair enough to compare (the specs) with the flagship handsets, the Redmi Note 7 Pro if for sure value for money product.
