Within a week after its global launch, Poco X3 Pro arrives in the Indian market. Priced at ₹18,999, the new X3 Pro will be Flipkart exclusive. The handset is powered by a mammoth 5160mAh battery and Snapdragon 860 chipset.

Starting April 6th, the Poco X3 Pro will be available for sale. As a launch offer, there’s a flat ₹1000 discount on purchase through ICICI credit card. The new X3 Pro looks similar to the standard Poco X3 in specs sheet.

    Poco X3 Pro Specifications:

Regarding specifications, the Poco X3 Pro sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display (1800x2400p) with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports a peak brightness of up to 450 nits and HDR10 format.

Incidentally, the handset has got an IP53 rating in terms of its resistance towards dust and water. Plus, there’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the top.

The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset paired with up to 8GB DDR4X RAM and Adreno 640 for GPU. It flashes an inbuilt 128GB UFS 3.1 storage expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Downgraded Camera But Still the Best:

Though there’s a quad-camera setup at the rear, the camera is downgraded to 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor when we compare it to 64MP on the regular version. The ultra-wide-sensor is also downgraded to 8MP from the 13MP cam on the Poco X3. However, it still gives 4K video shots.

The other specs include 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it is packed with 20MP selfie camera. There’s a fingerprint reader as well.

The major improvement is seen in its battery department. The X3 Pro gets a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging. The handset boots MIUI 12 based on Android 11 operating system.

To aid heat dissipation, the handset is equipped with the latest LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus with multi layer graphite sheet. It can bring down up to 6 degree of cooling. Now-a-days, this seems to be a big necessity as the handsets are used for gaming purpose.

    On the connectivity front, it is a 4G handset supporting Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, USB Type-C 2.0, and USB On-The-Go.

Poco X3 Pro Price and Competition:

In line with the global launch, the Poco X3 Pro gets 2 memory variants - 6/128GB and 8/128GB. Starting at ₹18,999 ($260), the handset will be available in 3 color options – Graphite Black, Steel Blue and Golden Bronze.

If you are looking for 8/128GB variant, then you need to shell out an extra 2K. As disclosed earlier, there’s a flat ₹1000 discount on purchase through ICICI card.

Poco X3 Pro being the first Snapdragon 860 carrier gives an unbeatable flagship bang performance at a cheaper price. Though it could face a stiff competition from Realme 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, Realme X7 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Poco X3 Pro at ₹18,999 is a steal. Go get it now!
