The Apple India online store goes live today. The day September 23, 2020, marks a new beginning for the Apple in the Indian market.
Till now, the US-based electronic giant used to sell its iPhones and other Apple products in India through e-commerce platforms and third-party resellers including Flipkart and Amazon India.
That’s the reason, it didn’t have comprehensive control over the product delivery and support experience.
Apple Soon to Setup A Brick-and-Mortar Store in India:
The much-awaited Indian store is Apple’s 38th online store worldwide. To provide logistics support, the company has tied up with Blue Dart. This enables Apple to deliver products across the nation within 2-3 days of the purchase.
If things work out smoothly, Apple will soon launch its first brick-and-mortar store (retail store) in India. Recently, Apple has opened the first floating glass retail store (the first of its kind) at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
In fact, it is described as the tech giant’s “most ambitious retail project” till date.
Apple India Online Store in Indian Languages:
Leaving the physical retail store aside, let’s concentrate on Apple’s India online store. Not just in English, the online store makes it through 7 Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, and Gujarati.
For example, the product details and related information could be found in 7 Indian languages. Moreover, you get specialized support for Apple products and services in English and Hindi.
Apart from the existing Apple product lineup (including the newly launched iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6 etc.), the Indian users will be getting the Apple One subscription very soon.

Though India contributes just 2% revenue to Apple, the Cupertino-based tech giant foresees a good future for Apple products in the Indian market. That’s the reason, it’s geared up to set up a retail store.
