New Pricing Model:
Starting with the new entrant Jio Infocomm’s 149 pricing, every other telecom operator is strategically designing their pricing keeping the number 149 in the mind. First, it was unlimited calling at ₹149. Now, Bharti Airtel has got 4GB of 4G data at ₹149 with a validity period of 28 days. All the telecom operators are offering exclusive discounts on 4G data as they are feeling the pinch of Jio’s freebies.
Bharti Airtel has also come up with a special ₹299 plan where the subscriber enjoys unlimited local and STD calling within its own network along with 4GB of 4G data. There’s nothing special in it. As the company is already providing unlimited voice on-net calls for ₹149, the ₹299 pack offers extra 4GB of 4G data for its loyal subscribers. It is to be noted that Bharti Airtel has not officially launched these special packs but are informed by an SMS to their users.
