Vi Packs Free Disney+ Hotstar VIP Subscription (in 4 Prepaid Plans)

In an attempt to attract OTT lovers, the Vodafone Idea (Vi) has started offering Disney+ Hotstar bundled plans to its prepaid subscribers. The ailing telecom company will now compete with Jio and Airtel in offering Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription.
To date, only Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are known to offer Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription prepaid plans. On the other hand, Vi teamed up with ZEE 5 to offer a free ZEE5 subscription.
With the 2021 Indian Premier League scheduled from 9th April, Vodafone Idea has joined its rivals to offer unlimited combo plans including Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription content. As per the latest information, there are 4 bundled packs namely ₹401, ₹501, ₹601 and ₹801 that offer online streaming content for free.
There’s a weekend data rollover facility as well on all the above listed prepaid plans. Say, for example, if you have unused data left on the weekdays, you can consume it on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Vi ₹401 Disney+ Hotstar VIP Prepaid Plan:
The smallest plan in Vi’s prepaid kitty to offer Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription is Vi ₹401. With daily 3GB data, unlimited voice calls and 100SMS per day, the Vi ₹401 validity is 28 days. As a promotional offer, Vi packs another 16GB of data with this ₹401 pack.
Vi ₹501 Disney+ Hotstar VIP Prepaid Plan:
This Vi ₹501 pack is a data-only recharge plan. It offers 75GB of data with 56 days of validity. Apart from that, this pack offers non-stop multiplex movies and Hotstar Specials with a Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.
Vi ₹601 Disney+ Hotstar VIP Prepaid Plan:
The Vi ₹601 pack is a regular combo pack that offers daily 3GB data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day for a period of 56 days. When compared to the Vi ₹401, this pack offers double the validity period. All other benefits remain the same including the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.
Vi ₹801 Disney+ Hotstar VIP Prepaid Plan:
The most expensive plan under this category is Vi ₹801 pack. It is a regular combo pack that offers daily 3GB data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 84 days. The extra benefit of 48GB data is definitely a welcome offer from Vi.
Interestingly, Vi offers free unlimited data benefit during night hours especially from 12 AM to 6 AM. This is a damn good initiative by the telecom.
It is to be noted that all these four Vi prepaid plans do offer Vi Movies & TV classics access. It packs some good movies, originals, live TV, news and more on the app.
Disney+ Hotstar VIP Vs Premium:
To the unaware, Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription offers online streaming of exclusive TV shows, serials, live sports, latest Indian movies, dubbed Hollywood movies. This ad-supported yearly plan costs ₹399.
However, one should note that Disney+ content will be available only in dubbed languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu. To watch your favourite content in English, you need to be a Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscriber that costs ₹1499 per year or ₹299 per month.
The Disney+ Hotstar Premium plan is an Ad-free subscription plan. One can enjoy unlimited live sports including cricket, Pro Kabaddi League, ISL, Tennis Grand Slams, Premier League, F1 and many more.
