Vodafone Idea Packs Extra Data on Select Plans (Up to 5GB on App)

Vodafone Idea, India’s third-largest mobile telecom network, has started offering extra data up to 5GB data on select plans. Recently, the merged entity Vi was in news for offering Double Data on some of its prepaid plans.
Now, the focus has been shifted to Vi’s extra data up to 5GB on App. As per the offering, this extra 5GB facility is applicable on select plans including ₹149, ₹219, ₹249, ₹399 and ₹599 recharges.
Make sure, you recharge these plans only on MyVi App or on its official MyVi.in website. The Vodafone Idea has clearly mentioned that this additional data up to 5GB offering will be only on App/web exclusive.
Apart from these including Vi ₹149, Vi ₹219, Vi ₹249, Vi ₹399 and Vi ₹599 prepaid plans, the Vodafone Idea has got extra data plans with over 200MB in ₹49 and ₹79 recharges.
Let us go through these five Vi Extra Data Plans in detail that offer unlimited voice calling benefit:
Vi ₹149 Plan Extra 1GB on App/Web:
In general, the Vi ₹149 recharge plan offers unlimited voice calling, 2GB data, 300 SMS with a validity of 28 days. As per the new offer, it ships extra 1GB and the total data benefit comes to 3GB.
The additional benefits include Vi Movies and TV Basic Access.
Vi ₹219 Plan Extra 2GB on App/Web:
The Vi ₹219 recharge plan packs unlimited voice calling, 1GB daily data, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days. As per the new offer, it ships extra 2GB and the total data benefit comes to 30GB (28GB+2GB).
It offers Vi Movies and TV Basic Access.
Vi ₹249 Plan Extra 5GB on App/Web:
Earlier, the Vi ₹249 recharge plan used to offer unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days. As per the new offer, it ships extra 5GB and the total data benefit comes to 47GB (42GB+5GB).
The additional benefits include weekend data rollover and binge on weekends with your Unused Data from Mon-Fri. It offers Vi Movies and TV Classic Access.
Vi ₹399 Plan Extra 5GB on App/Web:
The Vi ₹399 recharge plan used to offer unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 56 days. As per the new offer, it ships extra 5GB and the total data benefit comes to 89GB (84GB+5GB).
The extra benefits include weekend data rollover and binge on weekends with your unused data from Mon-Fri. It offers Vi Movies and TV Classic Access.
Vi ₹599 Plan Extra 5GB on App/Web:
Earlier, the Vi ₹599 recharge plan used to offer unlimited voice calling, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 84 days. As per the new offer, it ships extra 5GB and the total data benefit comes to 131GB (126GB+5GB).
The additional benefits include weekend data rollover and binge on weekends with your Unused Data from Mon-Fri. It offers Vi Movies and TV Classic Access.
