The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has come up with a new mid-range handset Vivo Y12s. Currently, this smartphone is limited to Hongkong and Vietnam market and no information is disclosed about its Indian launch.

However, it is to be noted that Indian Vivo lovers are desperately in need of a Vivo Y12 upgrade. So, one could expect this Y12s to be a part of Vivo India product lineup.

The Vivo Y12s sports a 6.51-inch IPLS LCD display with 720x1600p and 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a waterdrop notch screen. Powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 3GB RAM, the handset has 32GB inbuilt storage space.

    Dual-Rear Cameras:

The storage space can be further expandable up to 512GB using a cheap microSD card. On the camera front, the Vivo Y12s is equipped with dual-cam-setup. This includes 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and another 2MP lens with f/2.4 aperture secondary camera.

There’s an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.

Backed by a big 5000mAh battery and 10W fast charging it easily lasts for a day. However, one would be expecting a minimum 30W fast charging support in this price range.

Priced at HK$ 1098 (approximately 10K in Indian currency), the Vivo Y12s will be available in 2 colours namely Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. The handset boots FunTouch OS version 11 based on Android 10.
