OnePlus Nord Teases a Sandstone Finish (Special Edition on 14 October)

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has officially declared that there would be a special edition of OnePlus Nord. With a teaser image on its Twitter handle, the company has asked its fans to decode it.

By going through the image which presents OnePlus Nord with stones and sand as a hint, it’s official that the mid-range handset will get another colour variant apart from Blue Marble and Gray Onyx.

It’s to be noted down that there’s also a tagline “Beauty is Everywhere”.

Yet to be launched OnePlus Nord looks similar to Charcoal Gray colour that reminds us of OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition. Though there’s no official document to prove its specs, the OnePlus lovers anticipate it to have 256GB onboard storage space.

Regarding OnePlus Nord specifications, it sports a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 1080x2400 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus Nord smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset and Adreno 620 GPU. It has got up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage space with no microSD card slot. The 3 variants are 6GB RAM 64GB ROM, 8GB RAM 128GB ROM, and 12GB RAM 256GB.

On the camera front, OnePlus Nord gets a quad-camera-setup combination including 48mp main camera (wide), 8mp ultrawide lens, 5mp depth sensor and 2mp macro shooter. For selfies, it gets dual-camera setup including 32mp (wide) plus 8mp ultrawide sensor.

Backed by a 4115mAh battery with 30T Warp Charge fast-charging (70% in 30 minutes) support, OnePlus Nord is surely a big-changer in the mid-range segment.

Coming back to OnePlus Nord Special Edition, the new Sandstone finish could also bring some changes in its core design. The prime one being ditching its Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel.
