You might be aware that Samsung is keen on improving its 5G base. That’s the reason; the South Korean company is developing the cheapest 5G phone.
Titled Galaxy A42 5G, the Samsung’s latest 5G handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset and 4/6/8GB RAM. As per the official images, the handset will sport a 6.6-inch AMOLED display.
Galaxy A42 5G Specifications (Expected):
However, the leaked spec sheet says it has Super AMOLED screen. On the camera front, there’s a quad-camera-setup on the rear. It includes 48mp primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8mp f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 5mp f/2.4 macro lens and 5mp f/2.4 depth sensor.
The inclusion of a fingerprint sensor for security is a must-have. For selfie-enthusiasts, there’s a 20mp snapper with f/2.2 aperture.
Surprisingly, Samsung has packed a mammoth 5000maAh battery along with 15W fast charger.
Will Galaxy A42 5G be the cheapest 5G Phone?
The reveal note also specified that the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G will be available in Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Gray colour.
Regarding price, it’s now a secret. However, one could surely expect it cheaper than the Galaxy A51 5G. But the question is can we expect it much cheaper than Xiaomi’s Mi 10T Lite!
Strangely, Mi 10T Lite also features Snapdragon 750G chipset.
