Vodafone Offers 1GB/Day Plan for ₹244 with 70 Days Validity

To counter Reliance Jio’s unlimited offerings, Vodafone India has launched a new plan that offers 1GB 4G/3G data per day with 70 days validity at just ₹244. Along with data benefit, the new plan offers unlimited voice calls on its own network.
Vodafone FRC ₹244 Plan:
India’s second largest telecom network operator Vodafone India quickly reacted to the announcement of Jio Phone. According to the new ₹244 plan, the Vodafone gives daily 1GB data (4G/3G) and unlimited voice calls within Vodafone India network for a period of 70 days.
It is to be noted that this offer is a first recharge plan and is meant only for the new customers. This is definitely a restriction that limits its benefits. Leaving it aside, the plan can definitely attract the new users to try Vodafone SuperNet experience.
Up on the first recharge (₹244 FRC), the above mentioned benefits will be valid for 70 days. However, this benefit is limited to 35 days only from the second recharge.
The unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone calls is nothing new but what attracts is the inclusion of 1GB per day data at a cheaper price. It can be accessed on both 3G and 4G networks of Vodafone India.
Vodafone ₹346 Plan:
Furthermore, Vodafone India has also unveiled ₹346 plan that offers unlimited voice calls benefit to any network and 1GB per day data. However, the validity of ₹346 plan is limited to 56 days.
If we look into the full details, Vodafone has capped unlimited voice calls to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. Applying simple mathematics, the new ₹346 plan offers 56GB 4G/3G data and 9600 minutes of voice calls with 56 days validity.

5% Cashback Talktime:
To promote My Vodafone App, the telecom network company is also offering 5% cashback with the purchase of these first recharge plans on its app. The 5% cashback will be offered as talktime. Say, when the user recharges ₹244 plan, a talktime of ₹9.70 would be credited to his account. Similarly, ₹17.30 talk time would be credited with the purchase of ₹346 plan on My Vodafone App.
The me-too plans will be offered by the incumbent telecom players to stay in the business while making a direct fight with the new entrant Reliance Jio.
