Starting from August 1st 2016, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has upgraded its entire landline broadband plans to offer a minimum speed of 1 Mbps. This upgrade is applicable to all the new and existing customers of BSNL broadband services.
Earlier the speed used to be 512 Kbps post FUP. Say, if you are in BBG UL 545 plan, you will get 2 Mbps till 2GB (FUP) and then up to 1 Mbps beyond. This is really a need of hour to benefit millions of BSNL customers.
Customers opting for BSNL broadband will be availing free unlimited night calling facility between 9 pm to 7 am without any extra charges. Recently, BSNL has also introduced unlimited free Sunday calling facility.
