Oppo A93 5G Variant Announced in China (Dual-Mode 5G, Priced CNY1999)

The Guangdong headquartered OPPO Mobiles has announced a 5G variant handset to its popular model OPPO A93. The new 5G handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC instead of the regular MediaTek Helio P95 chipset.
The brand new Oppo A93 5G boots the latest ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 operating system. Moreover, it sports a full HD+ colourful eye protection screen that has a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
Oppo A93 5G Specifications:
Regarding specifications, the OPPO A93 5G handset sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ (2400x1080p) LCD screen. Powered by the 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset and 8GB RAM, it has got 2 storage variants namely 128GB and 256GB where one can add another 256GB expandable storage via a microSD card.
On the optics side, there’s a triple-camera-setup at the rear that includes 48MP primary camera, 2MP 4cm macro and 2MP monochrome sensor. There’s an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Backed by a big 5000mAh battery, it has got 18W fast charging support. On the connectivity side, it supports 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
What’s Special with Oppo A93 5G?
Clad in 3 colours (Dazzling Black, Yayin and Aurora), the Oppo A93 5G Aurora coloured handset uses a new liquid coating. This makes the handset look in different colours as light strikes the panel at different angles.
The dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) OPPO A93 256GB variant is priced CNY 1999 ($310/€255). Currently, only the 256GB variant is up for sale and one can register at the company’s website.
