Japanese multinational giant Sony Corporation has unveiled its Android Smart TV in the Indian market. Known by the model Sony 32W830, this Android LED TV is the most feature-rich in the 32-inch segment.
Supporting Google Assistant, the Sony Smart Android TV has got HDR support for HDR10 and HLG formats. Carrying many extensive features along with its board, this 32-inch smart TV is expensive in the Indian market.
Sporting a 32-inch screen narrow bezel design with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, this Sony 32W830 smart LED TV has an inbuilt Google Chromecast. This helps in easy casting without any compatibility issues.
It gives exclusive access to Google Assistant through a hands-free approach. One can control the TV using voice commands. Thus, there’s neither a complicated navigational problem nor tiresome typing. Just voice search, nothing else!
The Sony has got a full-HD 60Hz refresh rate along with HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) format for a better viewing experience. It comes with onboard storage of 16GB.
Connectivity-wise, it supports Bluetooth V4.2, Wi-Fi Certified 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, two USB ports, three HDMI inputs, and 3.5mm audio output. There’s an HDMI ARC support as well. The Sony TV has got improved X-protection technology that protects against humidity and dust.
Facilitating a better viewing experience, the Sony 32W830 smart LED TV supports 20W (2x10W audio power output) stereo speaker system, Dolby Audio, and Sony’s X-Reality Pro picture processing technology.
Weighing just 4.8kg, the Sony 32W830 comes with a 730.1 x 437.4 x 75mm dimension. Everything looks to be good for this 32-inch Android TV, except for the price.
When the top brands like Vu, Mi are providing 43-inch/50-inch smart TV, the Sony is still stuck at 32-inch by giving a costly tag of ₹31,900.
However, the reputation of Sony can’t be written off. But still, Sony should consider a lower price tag to achieve a good sizeable market share in the Indian subcontinent.
