Hey! The OnePlus 6/6T owners can rejoice as their 2018 model handset will also be a part of OxygenOS rollout. The Shenzhen, Guangdong (China) based OnePlus has declared the list of eligible handsets for the latest OxygenOS 11 update.
In its blog, the OnePlus has announced that OnePlus Nord will be the first handset to receive an Open Beta build scheduled for next week. To the unaware, the OxygenOS 11 is based on Android 11. The new update has got redesigned core apps, new font improving readability and the popular Dark Mode.
OxygenOS 11 on OnePlus 8 Series:
It is also to be noted that the latest flagship OnePlus 8T comes with OxygenOS 11 out-of-the-box. The OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T are already booting the latest Android 11 based OxygenOS 11. With that, there is so much enthusiasm about the new update when it will reach other devices.
Finally, the OxygenOS development team disclosed that the new Android 11 update will be rolled out to OnePlus 6 and later models.
The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T will get the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta at the earliest possible date as and when the internal data decryption issue is resolved with Qualcomm’s support. Till then, one has to wait for the official announcement.
Moreover, the users of OnePlus 7 associated with Verizon, T-Mobile, EE may wait a little longer due to their personalized software. Similarly, the OnePlus didn’t mention any exact roll-out date for OnePlus 6/6T and Nord 10 5G/100 handset users.
