Xiaomi Mi 10T Series Unveiled (The Successor to Flagship Mi 10)
-
The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi joins the flagship race by unveiling Mi 10T series. Generally, Xiaomi is accused of rebranding the existing handsets.
Erasing the pattern, the company has got a new premium flagship Mi 10T series at an affordable price. Moreover, the timing of the festive season makes a big difference.
Announced as Flipkart Exclusive, the new Mi 10T will be available in 2 configurations (6/128GB storage) and (8/256GB storage) at ₹36K and ₹38K respectively. However, the higher-end Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will come in single variant (8/128GB) at ₹40K price.
Starting 15th October midnight, the latest super affordable flagship handsets can be grabbed in 2 colour variants including Cosmic Black (ceramic finish) and Lunar Silver (matte finish).
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro Specifications:
Design-wise, Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro look similar. The core difference lies in the camera department. The higher-end variant Mi 10T Pro has a 108mp Samsung HMX camera and whereas the Mi 10T features 64mp Sony IMX682 primary lens.
By going through the specs, the Mi 10T Series sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Dot Display (20:9 aspect ratio) with HDR10 support. The other USP is the inclusion of 144Hz refresh rate panels along with 650 nits of brightness.
Probably, the highest by any smartphone till date in terms of refresh rate.
Interestingly, the AdaptiveSync helps the handset to switch the refresh rates between 30Hz to 144Hz based on the content. This helps in a smooth flow of content and power consumption.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset (supports 5G connectivity), it has an onboard 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The entire Mi 10T Series lineup is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 33W dual split fast charging support.
108MP Flagship AI Triple Camera:
Regarding the camera, the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro sport a triple-camera-setup in the rear with 64mp and 108mp primary sensor respectively.
The other two sensors include 13mp ultra-wide-angle and 5mp macro lens (supports autofocus as short as 2cm). It supports 8K recording at 30fps. It enables the user to take 33MP photos straight from 8K videos.
For selfies, there’s a 20mp sensor.
Undoubtedly, the latest Mi 10T series is designed to offer a flagship experience at an affordable price tag, unlike Apple. There are many memes that show kidney as the payment mode.
Apart from the Mi 10T series, Xiaomi has announced Mi True Wireless Buds at ₹2,499. The company mentions 5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
