With the extension of Reliance Jio freebies under Summer Special Plan, all the telecom operators are feeling the heat and will definitely dent earnings in the coming quarters. The telecom industry may witness further consolidation as a part of brutal price wars.

The newly launched Reliance Jio Summer Special and extension of Jio Prime subscription will definitely intensify the telecom war for domination. Though it may directly benefit the customer, however, there are certainly other things to be considered in the long-run.
