Reliance Retail expanded its LYF brand portfolio by adding another VoLTE smartphone. The new handset is labeled as LYF Water 3 and is bundled with the Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer valid till March 31, 2017. The smartphone comes only in Silver color and will be online exclusive to Flipkart portal.
LYF Water 3 Specifications:
Currently, Reliance Retail markets LYF smartphones under four categories namely Earth, Water, Wind, and Flame. Specs wise, the latest LYF Water 3 handset sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixel resolution. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5Ghz paired with Adreno A405 3D GPU and 2GB RAM, the smartphone packs 16GB internal storage space and can be expandable double via microSD card.
Optics-wise, the LYF Water 3 smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies. Packed with a 3000mAh battery, the company claims to offer 6 hours of talk time and 8 hours of HD video playback time. The smartphone runs on the older Android 5.0 Lollipop OS but supports all connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB etc.

Though the company claims that it offers dual-SIM 4G connectivity, only one SIM supports 4G VoLTE and the other 2G network. LFY branded phones come up with 2 years warranty including 1 year extended warranty benefit from LYFCARE. Placed in the budget smartphone category, the handset will receive stiff competition from Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Coolpad Note 3 Lite that costs under 7K.
