Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana launched free Wi-Fi services in 100 villages. Along with this launch, the Haryana state government decided to rename all Common Service Centres (CSCs) and e-disha centers as “Atal Seva Kendras”.
One the eve of Good Governance Day, Haryana CM Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar added 53 new IT services of 6 departments. With this development, the citizens can now access 170 e-services through Atal Seva Kendras in Haryana. All the CSCs will now perform under one room through Gram Sachivalayas.
Awards for Cashless Transactions:
To encourage cashless transactions, the Haryana Government conducted a draw of digital transaction award scheme. 65 prizes were given a cash award of ₹10,000 each, 10 prizes of ₹5,000 each, and 50 winners of ₹1,000 each was awarded for transacting cashless. The real reason for demonetisation might be hiding and some say the plan has flopped but a cashless future is certain on cards.
