      The South Korean multinational conglomerate Samsung Electronics has launched the much-awaited Galaxy F62 smartphone in the Indian market. Know for its AMOLED Plus display, Samsung packs all other major attractions at just ₹23999.

      Incidentally, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by the Samsung’s 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset that made its debut with Galaxy Note10 lineup. Moreover, the smartphone has up to 8GB RAM and quad-cam setup to get any easy push in the mid-range segment dominated by OnePlus Nord.

      Samsung Galaxy F62 Specifications:

      Regarding specifications, the Samsung Galaxy F62 sports a 6.7-inch Infinity-O AMOLED Plus display with FHD+ resolution. It gets a textured dual-tone laser gradient design.

      Powered by Exynos 9825 SoC and up to 8GB RAM, the handset supports 128GB internal storage. It can be further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

      On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy F62 sports a quad-camera setup at the rear. The configuration includes 64MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle and two 5MP snappers for macro shots and depth data.

      The front camera setup meant for video calling and selfies includes a 32MP sensor. Incidentally, both the primary sensors (front and rear) support 4K video shots.

      7000mAh Jumbo Battery:

      Next comes the main USP of the product. It has got a mammoth 7000mAh battery that could easily backup the device for days without any worry. The retail box also packs 25W charger with fast-charging support.

      Due to its large size and battery, the Samsung Galaxy F62 weighs 218 grams. However, it is just 9.5mm in thickness with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset boots the latest Android 11 with One UI 3.1.

      It is to be noted that the Samsung Galaxy F62 comes in 2 variants 6/128GB and 8/128GB and are priced at ₹23999 ($330) and ₹25999 ($358) respectively. Clad in 3 colour variants (Laser Grey, Laser Green, and Laser Blue), the handset will be available from February 22nd on all leading eCommerce platforms including Flipkart, Samsung India and Reliance Digital stores.

      Flipkart Smart Upgrade:

      Interestingly, the handset is notified under Flipkart Smart Upgrade programme. Here, the user is given an instant advance of 30% on the handset’s price. After 12 months, he/she can either purchase a new phone on Flipkart or give back this Samsung handset.

      Currently, there’s a launch offer going on with respect to Samsung Galaxy F62 on Flipkart. The pre-order carries a ₹2500 instant cashback on purchases through ICICI credit and debit cards.

      At this price, the Samsung Galaxy F62 will face stiff competition from Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition, Realme X3, Samsung Galaxy M51, and OnePlus Nord.
