The Chinese electronics smartphone maker OPPO Electronics will launch its new phone Oppo A15 in the Indian market. This comes as big news from Amazon India.
The budget smartphone Oppo A15 is an Amazon exclusive. By going through the design and promotion page, the new handset gathers a lot of specs from Realme’s Narzo 20.
Oppo A15 Specifications:
The budget offering is rumoured to sport 720x1600 pixels. The triple camera setup and the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner have got many similarities with Narzo 20 handset.
As pet the latest certification by the FCC, the handset runs on ColorOS 7.2 and packs 4100mAh battery with 10W charging. There seems to be a lot rebranding in smartphone segment especially from Chinese makers including OPPO and Xiaomi.
For the unaware, the OPPO is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics. All the important Chinese brands such as OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus and Realme come under a single umbrella.
What’s Wrong with Realme Narzo 20?
A few weeks earlier, Realme Narzo 20 got into the market. It’s powered by Media Tek Helio G85 and 4GB RAM. Incredible specs including the mammoth 6000mAh battery with reverse charging made the Realme Narzo 20 an instant hit.
However, for the full charge, it takes not less than 3 hours. Being heavy, one needs to have bigger hands to hold it. As the mobile looked very thick, the company might have reduced its battery capacity to 4100mAh and rebranded it as Oppo A15.
Anyway, let’s wait for the official launch of Amazon India exclusive Oppo A15.
