Vivo V21 5G with Dimensity 800U SoC Debuts (Priced at ₹29990)

    The Chinese electronics smartphone maker has launched its Vivo V21 5G handset in the Indian market. Starting May 6th, this 5G smartphone can be grabbed on Flipkart marketplace at a price tag of ₹29,990.

    Vivo known for being camera-centric has further pushed this Vivo V21 5G with the best selfie camera. The front camera with no fancy pop-up mechanisms is packed inside a notch. The best thing about its front camera is its autocrats that one finds only in top-end flagships.

    Moreover, it has two LEDs embedded in the top frame and an AI Night Portrait mode. Indeed, it’s an huge plus in night photography. It also supports HDR10+ and up to 500 nits of peak brightness.

    Vivo V21 5G Specifications:

    The Vivo V21 5G sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution (20:9 aspect ratio). Powered by the Dimensity 800U SoC, it comes in two memory variants 8/128GB and 8/256GB. Additionally, it offers an extended RAM feature with 3GB RAM.

    On the optics front, there’s a triple-camera-setup including 64MP primary snapper, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 44MP selfie camera with OIS and Auto-focus. It also packs a fingerprint reader into the display.

    This 5G handset boots FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the handset provides decent battery life supported by 33W FlashCharge. Though the handset is made of AG Matte Glass, the Vivo V21 5G is just the slimmest 5G smartphone (7.29mm thickness) from Vivo family.

    Available in Sunset Dazzle, Dusk Blue and Arctic White colour options, the Vivo V21 5G is priced aggressively. The Vivo V21 5G 8/128GB and 8/256GB variant cost ₹29,990 ($405/€335) and ₹32,990 ($445/€370) respectively.

    Starting May 6th, the Vivi V21 5G handset can be purchased through Flipkart, Vivo India portal and offline retail stores across the country.

    Though there are many companies (OnePlus, OPPO, Samsung etc) that are offering affordable 5G handsets in the Indian market, only a few are successful. By going through the specs, one can definitely rely up on Vivo V21 5G camera. However, if the user is looking for gaming purpose, then stickily stay away from it.
