    Some calling it as the largest data breach in the country, Reliance Jio is on the wrong side of the news. As per the leading daily The Indian Express, it is not clear whether all the 120 million odd numbers of available on it.

    This breach was first reported by FoneArena and the news has been spreading like a wildfire. The website Magicapk has access to the data of Reliance Jio subscribers. The leaked data has all the information of the user including his Jio number, email, the circle from where it’s activated, and Aadhar number.

    Aadhar Data Too Leaked:

    On further investigation, the details of Magicapk website reveal that it is registered in India with no details about the owner of the web portal.

    The users are really worried about the security of their data. Some reported that this breach is limited to the early adopters of Jio 4G. Currently, the website is down or might have crashed. This could be due to the suspension of authorities too.

    Responding to this data breach, Reliance Jio spokesperson asserted that law enforcement agencies are looking into it and will follow the strict action on it. The company also assured their subscribers that their data with the company would be safe. Let’s hope that this data breach is unauthentic.
